The India Pale Ale (IPA) style has, through its own merits, established itself as the great standard-bearer and spearhead of the craft beer revolution worldwide in recent years. For us at Althaia, this IPA is, without a doubt, one of the most essential gems in our catalog. Its recipe holds invaluable sentimental and historical significance for the team: along with our blonde and brown, it was one of the first three recipes we developed and perfected in the early days of the brewery, also becoming one of the references that has brought us the most joy, pride, and recognition throughout our journey. Its peak arrived when it was officially named the Best IPA in Spain at the 2019 Madrid Brew Competition, a highly prestigious milestone that adds to a track record full of national and international awards. Despite the passing years and growth, we continue to brew this American IPA with the same enthusiasm, rigor, and passion as on day one.
