Mascarat (Black Rye IPA) 33cl Can

"Give him a mask and he will tell you the truth." Long ago, when roads were etched between stone and danger, a bold and elusive bandit lived hidden among the craggy mountains and gorges separating the regions of Las Marinas. In those ancient times, to cross the territory and travel from Altea to Calpe, one could only pass through a narrow, steep, and rugged path; a strategic passage that this mysterious masked figure perfectly exploited to ambush and rob unsuspecting travelers who ventured along its trails. This is how popular lore and local legend ended up forever bestowing his name upon the imposing rock mass and the mountain we know today as Mascarat. In honor of this enigmatic character of the shadows and the peaks that guard the echo of his legend, we craft this superb Black IPA with rye. An intensely black beer, extremely creamy, generously hopped, and endowed with that subtle spicy touch that evokes the danger of the old mountain roads.
