At Cervezas Althaia, we're celebrating, and we couldn't wait to share it with you. This summer, we're celebrating 10 years of passion and brewing excellence, establishing ourselves as the most awarded brewery in the Valencian Community and one of the most awarded in Spain, with over 40 medals, 30 of them international.
To commemorate this decade of success, we have organized a special event that will take place on Friday, August 2nd, and Saturday, August 3rd, at our Altea factory.
On Friday, August 2nd, we start with guided tours that include a tasting and pairing, where you will have the unique opportunity to taste our beer directly from the maturation tanks. This is an exclusive experience that we only offer once a year during our anniversary. Additionally, at 10:00 PM, AmyJo Doh & The Spangles will delight us with their music in a free admission concert. AmyJo, sister of the famous Pete Doherty from The Libertines, promises a night full of surprises and great music.
Saturday, August 3rd, is the big day of the festival. We will have over 15 beer taps available, including two slushy beers perfect for the summer heat, and the participation of renowned Spanish breweries such as Yakka, Península, Dougall's, Engorile, Espiga, and Saez & Son. The event promises to be a true beer celebration. Last year, over 700 people attended the event, and this year, as we celebrate a decade, we expect an even larger turnout.
Attendees can also enjoy a varied gastronomic offer with delicious Pizzas Da Luciano, the famous burgers from Pits Food Dealers, and empanadas from La Empanada del Rock.
The day will be enlivened by a selection of DJs from 12:00 PM until after midnight. Among them are Mr. La-Rock-A DJ with his ancestral rhythms of yesterday and today, Rebel Guille with his reggae style, Pepe Marín DJ from Club Camelot in Alicante, and Madbel, who was a hit last year, along with Jorge from the popular band Second.
Admission to the event is free, but attendees can purchase a festival kit in advance for €8 or €10 at the ticket office. The kit includes a special anniversary glass, a water gun, and two drinks, and can be purchased through our website.
