When we delved into the world of craft beer back in 2014, we at Cervezas Althaia were unaware of the number of beer festivals and competitions that exist. There are local, international, draft, by style...
What is always sought in this type of event is to evaluate product quality by seeking the best beers, considering parameters such as aroma, flavor, appearance, suitability for a specific style, or possible defects it may present. We set out to do just that, to brew the best possible craft beers with our criteria, with our Mediterranean personality to satisfy beer palates akin to ours.
The competitions came later. When we were convinced that we had the best craft beer, we considered entering contests. And we haven't done too badly...
Althaia Selection Pack: Our Best Beers Together
Over the years, our different beers have received more than 25 awards in prestigious competitions, attesting to our commitment to quality and the care we put into what was once a dream and can now truly be called a reality: brewing the best craft beers with our distinctive touch.
