GIVE HIM A MASK AND HE WILL TELL YOU THE TRUTH
And the story goes that some time ago, a bandit lived in the mountains that separate Las Marinas. In those days, to cross them and get from Altea to Calpe, one could only pass through a narrow path that our beloved MASCARAT used to rob unsuspecting travelers. And in his honor, we make this Black IPA with rye, black, creamy, and very hoppy.
Hence its name, a beer with a certain mystery, which is now available for sale in both our physical store and the online store.
A beer that experiments with one of the most daring combinations of malts and hops in craft beer brewing: barley, rye, and dry hopping.
MASCARAT is a BLACK RYE IPA with rye, black, and very hoppy. A beer that, despite its black color, is very drinkable. It has a certain predominance towards hops, which gives it a marked bitterness but with an amazing flavor thanks to the balance between dark malts and hops.
On the nose, citrus, resinous, and piney aromas are perceived, contrasting with notes of soft chocolate and toast.
A black beer with a good cinnamon-colored head. Creamy and refreshing at the same time with medium carbonation.
A top-fermented craft beer.
Ingredients: Altea water, barley malt, rye malt, hops, and yeast.
