Once again, we return from the Barcelona Beer Challenge with several of our beers awarded, and this year it was no less than 5 medals!
The 7th edition of the BBC took place last Saturday, April 2nd, in La carga de L'Hospitalet, as part of the third and final day of InnBrew, The Brewers Convention, the first 100% dedicated professional beer event held in our country.
The awarded beers were:
🥈Mediterranean Marzen
🥈Mediterranean IPA Sin
🥈Kraken (in collaboration with Cerveses Lluna)
🥈Mascarat
🥉Batiscafo (in collaboration with Chocolates Pérez)
They won silver and bronze medals in their respective categories, competing against a total of 1,315 beers submitted across 64 styles and brewed by 215 breweries from around the world. The competition tasting was held in early March at the Clúster Craft Beer of Lliçà d'Amunt, with the presence of 60 professional judges, 15 of whom were international.
We are very happy to succeed once again at this event, considered one of the most prestigious beer competitions in Europe. And we thank the organization for all the hard work and effort behind the event. See you next year!
